New Series: Stress & Self Pleasure

More and more we understand that stress is a full body experience - one we can get stuck in, spinning our wheels to exhaustion, until our bodies feel like uninviting pleasure deserts.

When stress is ongoing, when we’re constantly feeling pressure to do, to achieve, to be productive, devoting time to self-pleasure can feel impossible. Nice in theory but impossible, even irresponsible, to actually do.

In this three class series we will be exploring how we can work with our bodies and nervous systems when stressed, so we no longer feel like they’re working against our pleasure, so we can recognise pleasure for what it is - an inner resource for even the bleakest and most harried of times.

We will be somatically exploring different stress states in ways that support containment, getting creative with our embodiment to challenge the limiting beliefs and stories we hold about our capacity for pleasure and eroticism when we’re in them.

If you ever feel too stressed for self pleasure, if you’ve been reading about these classes and have never come along because you’re “too busy”, “too tired” or “too in your head”, this is the series for you.
